Eternity and a Day






Eternity and a Day contains drawings and artist’s notes that were created during the process of Jaehyoung Im’s work. The book was intended to be viewed in the exhibition space alongside the contents of the book, allowing the viewer to examine the relationship between process and result.









We were commissioned to design a book with a ‘circular structure’, where the beginning and end are connected without a narrative flow. The book is characterized by a structure that allows readers to open and intermingle in a variety of ways, out of page order, through the matching of individual texts and images and by the separation of areas of them. 






This can be read with the binding tied or unbound to fully appreciate the texts and drawings.
